The Allmenalp Via Ferrata is one of the best in the region. Climb iron pegs, wire bridges and traverse above the spectacular Allmenalp waterfall.

The vertical face directly after the starting point, the four roaring waterfalls of the Allmibach, the two three-rope-bridges or the zip line – the via ferrata won't leave one wish unfulfilled!

You can rent the via ferrata equipment in the sport shops of Kandersteg or directly at the valley station of the Allmenalp cable car. The rental per day and person is CHF 25.
To restore after the climb, go to the Allmen-Beizli having some own produced Swiss alp cheese, snacks or basic meals and enjoy the panoramic view.
The cable car will bring you back safely to Kandersteg afterwards.

The new variant "Freude herrscht" is classified as KS5 in the SAC via ferrata scale. This means that this variant is very difficult to climb and is therefore only suitable for experienced climbers free from giddiness.
