By car
From city centre follow the signs “Allmenalp” direction south on the main road. Stay on Dorfstrasse (main road) until you reach “Elektro Grossen” (on the right side of the road, 500 meters after city centre). Turn right and follow the road and the signs “Allmenalp”.
Parking
- Limited parking available next to the valley station (Allmenbahnstrasse 23, Kandersteg).
- Parking fee per day CHF 5.00
- Camping and sleeping on the premise is not allowed.
By train
When you leave the station, turn right and follow the brown signs “Allmenalp”; the path leads between the ice rink (Eisbahn) and the railroad line. The walk from the train station to the valley station takes about 15 minutes.
